Small town. Big heart. Bigger mission. Brandon's raising every dollar he can for a cause that matters — and he needs Owosso behind him all the way to the Curwood finale on June 6. Let's crown one of our own.
Every dollar Brandon raises goes straight to Voices for Children Advocacy Center — court advocates, family therapy, and prevention programs for kids in Shiawassee County. Your donation lights up the thermometer and helps Owosso crown one of its own on June 6.

Mr. Owosso candidates pick a nonprofit and go all-in. Here's Brandon's.
Voices for Children is the Shiawassee County child advocacy center. They serve child survivors of abuse and their families — and every service they provide is 100% free. Court-appointed advocates (CASA), forensic interviews, child and family therapy, a family resource center, and prevention programs that reach the whole community.
Their Owosso office sits right here in town at 1216 W. Main Street. Every dollar Brandon raises goes straight to the kids and families they serve.
Hi, I'm Brandon Mead. I was born in Owosso in 1980. I grew up in this community and graduated from Corunna High School. I've lived here in downtown Owosso with my wife Jennifer since 2013, and we've owned Cakey Cakes & Bagels together for the past four years. Our kids all graduated from Owosso.
This is our home. This is where we love to be. This is where we want to help.
